America x Reader
You hated that they had to fight over you.
England thought that you were a bad influence, that you'd taught America to be rebellious. But he really hadn't started rebelling until after you'd been sent away.
England mostly left you to your own devices; he knew that he couldn't control you, but he was in charge of America, and he'd forbade his brother to see you. It broke your heart to see brothers fighting like this, especially since you were the cause. It brought back horrible memories from long ago, back when you'd actually spent time with humans instead of countries.
You liked America a lot. You were close, seeing as you'd grown up together. You trusted each other, and he'd been furious when Britain separated you. He'd taken every opportunity to see you behind his brother's back, and you hadn't had the willpower to reject him.
And now here you all were, standing shin-deep in mud, the rain beating down on you like a billion tiny fists. America had the might of his army behind him; he'd already won. England's men had retreated, leaving him alone. You was standing off to the side, ever neutral. You looked away as England sank to his knees, sobbing like a child. One day, perhaps, they would have a chance to reconcile. You hoped so, because England was your friend, too.
America turned away from his now estranged brother, trudging through the mud toward you as his men threw their hats up in the air, jubilant shouts drowning out the weather. He reached out, his palm upturned, his eyes silently inviting you to take it.
You did.

"_-_____?" You heard a voice say.You turned to the bear of the shadow. The bear took off it's head, revealing Romano with a red mouth(probably from eating tomatoes)."Ques stace acena?" He asked while eating a tomato. You were in your thoughts so you didn't hear what he said.
A Rolling Girl is always far away,
In her dream world, she wants to stay...
There's so much noise round inside of her head,
All the worries never end,The worries never end!!!!
You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard Romano yell a string of Italian curses as he tripped over his basket of tomatoes."...You OK,Lovi?" you asked."Don't call me Lovi, ragaza!!!" he snapped a

"___________ doesn't want to sit with a tea-sucker like you!" America cried out from across the table, his arms waving in the air,"She wants to sit next to the hero of course!"
"What the bloody hell Alfred!?" The Englishman beside him stood up, green eyes flaring. "I think __________ should have the choice of sitting with...a fine English gentleman such as myself...or you!"
Sighing, you just took a seat in the meeting room beside some of the more...sane...nations of Japan and Greece. At least both were usually silent and subtle during meetings.
Throughout the whole meeting, you tuned into what the two nations ac

America is actually only my second favorite character, but he's just so damn easy to write for. I have a folder full of these little drabbles, but I want to try and stagger them. Maybe next I'll try to write a Veneziano x Reader fluff? We sharr see.
The vague implication is that the reader is México, though Los Estados Unidos Méxicanos didn't declare their independence until 1810. Spain was involved in the Revolution (in America's favor, obviously, because he hatesBritain England), but I couldn't find anything about México's involvement, so she is 'neutral.' Because I said so.
